Jerusalem,Israel

"Jerusalem",in ancient language, translates to the "city of peace"-slightly ironic if you think about all the disputes and unrest that it has gone through for thousands of years and continue to do so today. These aside, Jerusalem is an amazing tourists destination filled attractions from a variety of cultures and religions (its' a holy city for three different religions-Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). At the heart of Jerusalem is the old city, a 09-square kilometer walled area divided into four quarters to house the Jewish, Armenian,Christian, and Muslim holy sites. The Christian quarter alone houses about 40 holy places, one of which is the church of the Sepulcher,a site venerated by many Christians nad the site of the death and resurrection of Jesus.
Gaziantep,Turkey
Rich in culture and history,Gaziantep is one of Turkey's commercial centers. What was once a small, sleepy town famous for its pistachio nuts soon became a modern city filled with high rise apartments and buildings. At the heart of the Gaziantep,is an ancient Kale (Citadel),which dates back some 9,000 years. But aside from that everything else fairly new.Gaziantep is a perfect spot for history lovers and aficionados.Ruins that belong to the stonr age, Calcohilitic, Copper Age, Hittite, Mitani Assyrian, Roman and Byzantine and Islam Turkish periods are scattered across the area. Some important artifacts from Neolithic.Hittite, and Roman times are housed in the Archeological Museum.
